Chris and Angela Hiebert

Our God Story

Chris and Angela both grew up in Christian homes. Chris remembers responding to a Holy Spirit nudge and making a firm decision to join God's family when he was 11 years old. Angela gave her life to Jesus at a young age and with each year has grown deeper in relationship with Him. Together they desire to love people, welcome them to participate in the family of God, and ultimately invite them to join the family as followers of Jesus. Being adventurers and risk takers, they have stepped through the doors God has opened of making disciples internationally.

Our Vision

To establish a missional community of followers of Jesus through intentional disciple making among English speakers in Mexico City who in turn will use their gifts and resources to seek out and reach various least-reached people groups from the greater Mexico City area and beyond. We are consumed by the Great Commandment, Compelled by the Great Commission, Completing our Kingdom Calling. In every effort, discipling people to be a transforming presence among the least reached.

Current Priorities

Upon our move to Mexico City in January 2019, we will initially focus on getting our boys settled into school, then find and setup a home. In partnership with Union Church, we will seek the Lord for the ‘who’ and ‘how’ of planting a new international church in the City.

Our Team

Mexico City Team: Victor and Betty Chin, Bob and Amanda Eldred, Anne Louie, Heather Hahn and Andrés Cabezas, Rick and Susan Kilbrai, Bear and Vanessa Yarbrough, Ray and Cindy Perry, Rebecca Ross, Kelly Dyer.

Least-reached People Group (LRPG)

We work with a unique group of LRPG’s called the Urban Professionals in Mexico City.  You can learn more about the Urban Professionals of Mexico city by visiting our LRPG page.

Pray that the Lord would guide the Hieberts in this time of transition. For wisdom, for an open receptivity to change and grace to redirect their hearts to offer themselves in joyful service.

Pray for the spiritual and cultural chains of the Urban Professionals in Mexico City to be broken.

Pray that God will open their eyes and set them free from any bondage.

Pray for the international community of Mexico City to find community and belonging through Jesus.
