Support 150+ international workers

The Global Advance Fund supports workers around the world, including our marketplace, international church, business for transformation, and more as they bring the Gospel in 34 countries—half of which are creative access—and 65 people groups are covered in that.

After being part of Global Ministries as an international worker for over a decade, there’s no way we could have done what we did without the Global Advance Fund. For all of those who gave, all those who prayed along with gift giving—on behalf of all the international workers—I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for the prayers that you pray along with the giving. Your gifts are changing lives all around the world.

On a macro level, I just want to say this. You know… after being part of GM as an international worker for over a decade. There’s no way we could have done what we did without the Global Advanced Fund. For all of those who gave all those prayed along with their giving. On behalf of all our international workers I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for your love, your sacrifice. Thank you for the prayers that you pray along with the giving and on a macro level, Global Advanced Fund supports up to 100, 140, 150 workers around the world and that’s not even including our Marketplace ones and ones in International Church, all of our Business for Transformation as they bring the gospel in 34 countries, half of which are creative access. 65 people groups are covered in that and specifically some of those stories include persecuted people groups in Middle East that are sidelined and whose lives are threatened with death and threatened with not just threatened, but they are excommunicated because they say, “Hey, I want to follow Jesus”.

Two weeks ago, I received a text from one of our partners in North Africa who is serving a people group in the Middle East, and they had to escape to go to North Africa. He sent me this text that hey can please pray for us. We are a group getting together for discipleship and for learning about the Bible, about Jesus.

Every single one of two dozen people gathering have all been persecuted. They are all on the move. Can’t be in their country because it’s going through one of the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. And he said, pray for us as we as we go through this week of learning, of discipleship, of what it means to follow Jesus.

They’ve all paid a price, by the way. They all knew, they all decided that when they were going to follow Jesus… They’d be excommunicated and they would probably most likely face death if their captors caught up to them so they had to go on the run. But that’s not the best part of the story. At the end of the week, he sends me a picture and it’s a picture of six people in that… in this clip, all from one family.

And he said we are getting baptized today. We are getting baptized by the water. Couldn’t see their faces, but this picture, six of the family. Powerful because for this community of people, baptism is a… you can’t turn away from it. That’s a decision point. And if they discover that you’ve been baptized, they will kill you.

And in that picture, six weren’t just adults. They were young, anywhere from 14 all the way to 30 years old. And the world is not worthy of them. And while this story and their names will not be told publicly, it is a privilege and an honor to be able to see what God is doing, even in the lives of those whose names most people here would never know.

And that’s what the Global Advanced Fund goes to support…and it’s a huge privilege to see that.
