Current Priorities
We are anxious and excited about living in a country where we are not yet fluent in the local language. The children will need to adjust to new cultures and make new friends in a new environment. Tom will return to teaching in a school setting and working with youth.

Third Culture Kids in Central Asia
Vision
We are excited to teach third culture kids while their parents will focus on their ministries. We hope to connect with them and develop long lasting relationship with these kids which in turn will help them appreciate their unique identity and how they can be a bridge between cultures.
Bio
Tom and Heidi were both born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in their teenage years. At a very young age, Heidi received Christ as her personal Saviour while Tom accepted Christ in high school. Both received God’s calling to serve as tentmakers in Joint Mission Conference in 2005. They got married in 2007 and they are blessed with three lovely children. Heidi has a a strong conviction in her heart that she would serve God through teaching and raising godly children. Heidi trusts that the Lord will lead her to where He wants her to flourish, and she’s open to walking through the doors that are opened. Throughout their 2016 short term missions experience, Tom was convicted that God has shown that He is trustworthy and invited them to follow His lead.

Prayer Requests
- Pray for the children who attend Tien Shan International School, and their families; pray specifically for their faith and salvation.
- Pray for unity in Christ for all staff at Tien Shan International School.
- Pray for protection for our family against Satan’s schemes.
