The Compassion and Forgiveness of Jesus

March 27th, 2017 | in Least Reached People |    0

I (Paul) work with a media ministry that uses Facebook as a platform to develop relationships, disciple new believers, and present the Gospel. These are a few of the short stories of the ministry’s contact with individuals.

Yazlin* got to know Jesus through watching Christian programs. He learned that God is able to do whatever He wants—even incarnation. Yazlin also learned a new meaning of eternal life. He realized that the Bible is true by reading it.

Yazlin compared Jesus and his religion through the way Jesus dealt with the woman who was caught committing adultery. He was touched by Jesus's love and mercy for this woman. He wants to be baptized, but many churches are afraid to baptize him.

Pray that his wife will come to believe in Jesus.

Mehania* is a woman of the majority religion who is following our page and was surprised to discover that Job exists in the Bible. She requested a hard copy of the Bible, saying that she would read some parts of the Gospels.

She especially liked the verses that talked about forgiveness, and that you are able to forgive and love another who hasn’t loved you.

Mehania was also struck by how God is calling those who are abused to respond to hate with love.

"Such a great thing,” she said.

Our team talked with her and asked her why she wanted the Bible. She replied, "Because I'm searching for the truth. That's the goal of my life. I'm waiting with patience.”

Without your generous giving, Paul and Janelle would not be able to serve the people of their host country. Please give to the Global Advance Fund to help God’s Kingdom thrive in the Desert Sand region.
