I (Paul) work with a media ministry that uses Facebook as a platform to develop relationships, disciple, and present the Gospel. This is one of the more notable stories of the ministry team’s contacts with individuals.
When communication began with us, he had doubts about the Bible and his religion’s holy book. He thought that these books were full of contradictions, but through our discussions, he became convinced that the Bible is from God, and he began to read it regularly with a positive attitude.
After five months of interacting with us, he dreamed that he was present in a beautiful church and was full of joy. After this dream, he asked us to connect him with a church that could help him in his spiritual growth. We connected him to a local church.
We still had doubts that a 14-year-old boy could have such deep questions, and we thought he wasn’t telling the truth about his age. We decided to meet him at church face-to-face. The meeting lasted about two hours. We talked about many topics and made sure he was the same person as he said he was. He was indeed 14 years old. We also discovered that he had invited his Christian friends, who don’t have genuine, living faith, to come with him to the church in order to get to know the Lord.
