International Workers
Latin America

Current Priorities

We believe wholeheartedly that God’s heart is for the nations and we want to be part of seeing Jesus’ Great Commission completed, God’s love reaching every part of the world. As such, we want to walk alongside, train, equip and encourage our Mexican brothers and sisters to reach the unreached in Mexico and see Mexican missionaries sent to places all over the world where there is no Gospel presence – places where their culture and background are uniquely suited.

Least-Reached People Group

Vision

Our Mexico team has a great mission and vision which we share with all our heart! Abiding in Christ we are: Consumed by the Great Commandment, Compelled by the Great Commission, Completing our Kingdom Calling. In every effort, discipling people to be a transforming presence among the least-reached.

Bio

Rick grew up in Cranbrook, British Columbia, and gave his life to the Lord at the age of 12. Two years later while attending a week-long missions conference at his church, the Holy Spirit called him to be an international worker and gave him a passion for Latin America. Rick served as a Youth Pastor in Swift Current in Calgary and loves working with young people. He’s passionate about seeing people in Mexico, young and old, serve the Lord, especially in reaching the lost all over the world with the love of Jesus.

Susan had the privilege of growing up in Winnipeg with parents who showed her Jesus’ love. Deeply impacted by Sunday School teachers and youth workers, she committed her life to God at an early age. As her family hosted many amazing international workers, she was challenged by their stories and the Lord very specifically called her to full-time international ministry. She loves serving where needed and is specifically passionate about discipleship.

While Rick and Susan arrived in Mexico as singles, God took their individual calls and quickly aligned their passions and hearts together. They were married in 2010, and love living life and doing ministry with their two little ones, Amaya and Ricky.

Prayer Requests

We’re excited about our focus of being part in seeing the Mexican church and people mobilized for God’s heart for the nations. We’re also looking forward to our time of home assignment in Canada in 2023-2024 and being a part in seeing the Canadian church passionate about global mission. Please pray that we would have great wisdom in helping create strategic plans, communicate with clarity and passion, and walk alongside our Mexican brothers and sisters, and the Canadian church, in impacting the darkest and hardest placed with the love of Jesus.
