2020 Meeting of Members of The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA)

Thursday, June 18, 2020 @ 1:00-3:00 pm ET

The Meeting of Members is open to all who would be eligible to be accredited delegates at a General Assembly: Member’s delegates (i.e. Lay delegates from C&MA churches), official workers, members of the Board of Directors, members of special committees, and members of national committees. Learn more about accredited delegates in our FAQ. Please register below.

The meeting will be broadcast live on Facebook for all constituents. There will be no registration of “Corresponding Delegates;” those who would typically register as such at a General Assembly may observe the Meeting of Members via Facebook without any registration obligation or cost.


Registration

Registration is open to all Member’s delegates, official workers, members of the Board of Directors and members of special committees of the C&MA.  The Registrar will review all registrations to ensure that all registrants are accredited delegates.  Voting (including the election of the President and the Board of Directors) will be conducted on the “Simply Voting” platform. After June 5th you will receive an email from Simply Voting to log in and do a test vote. A link to the meeting will be sent out by email a few days before the meeting.

Elections

The Meeting of Members will be holding live, electronic elections for President and Board of Directors using Simply Voting, a secure and reliable platform.  After registering, delegates will receive an email from Simply Voting to set up their secure log in and test the system.

The Report of the Committee on Nominations, Presidential Nomination Package, and Board Nominee Profiles can be found on the reports webpage. This webpage link was in the Notice of Meeting email. If you did not receive the link, please fill out the questions form below, and you will be sent the link. Due to the nature of the documents, a private webpage is being used.



 

Schedule

1:00 – 1:30 pm – Opening prayer and worship - Hosted by Jeremy and Lisa Peters

Join us for a time of worship through song and scripture, as we fix our gaze on the exalted Christ.  In these opening moments, we will seek to orient our hearts together under the lordship of Jesus, to minister to Him as we prepare for the conversation about how our partnership with Him here on the earth is to look in this next season.

1:30 – 2:30 pm – Business Session

                Agenda:

  1. Receive Reports of the President, the Board of Directors, the President of Ambrose, the President of ETEQ
  2. Report of the Committee on Finance
  3. Report of the Committee on Nominations:
    • Election of President
    • Election of Board of Directors
    • Election of Executive Members for the General Assembly 2022 Committee on Nominations

2:30 – 3:00 pm – Closing Prayer

We will be reflecting on and praying into the great themes of Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1.  Though we are separated by great physical distance across the country and around the globe, we look forward to joining our hearts together as one, seeking to give expression to the prayers on Jesus’ heart for this moment in the story of God here on the earth.
