Combatting Malnutrition in Venezuela

Many people in Venezuela are battling malnutrition and health problems due to increased unemployment rates, as well as the increasing inflation affecting everyone. COVID-19 has multiplied the need, and we are thankful to be involved in a project that is helping with the nutritional needs of families of twelve of our churches in Venezuela.

It is through your support that we are able to fund this project. We are showing God’s love to these communities, where we will be able to share the Gospel and love our neighbour through reaching approximately 400 families that are in a severe state of poverty.

I also want to give thanks to the Canadian church for making this help possible because of their donations during this time of crisis in Venezuela. This help has come at a time of great need. Thank you.”

Jose is right! It is through your support and the support of churches that we are able to meet this need. This project is funded through the Global Emergency Response Fund (GERF), a pool of money used to support emergency response projects.

GERF has helped so many over the years because of donors such as you. Disaster relief is vital at unpredictable times and COVID-19 is just so.

The need is urgent. We are participating in an Alliance World Fellowship global initiative that is funding 28 projects in 19 different countries for COVID-19 relief.
