Celebrate Chaplaincy

Register for the national chaplaincy meeting on Friday, November 18 12:00 – 1:00 Eastern to hear five short stories about chaplaincy, featuring:

Rick Gay – Rick has been a bi-vocational chaplain for many years while serving as Senior Pastor at Summerland Alliance Church, BC. He’s served in a variety of chaplain areas including: hospital, hockey, and currently is with RCMP detachments in Summerland and Penticton.

Fred Ruskowsky –  Fred is full-time vocational chaplain at the Edmonton Remand Center. Before chaplaincy, he served on staff at Sturgeon Alliance Church, AB while dabbling in the car industry.

Kris Singer –  Kris is an Ambrose University student seeking to serve God as military chaplain.

Sharlene Henderson –  Full-time vocational chaplain at CAMA Woodlands nursing home in Burlington, ON. It has the distinction of being the only Alliance nursing home in Canada.

Al Nikkel – Al recently entered retirement from his chaplain role with Canadian Armed Forces. He will speak from his experience of surprisingly discovering many opportunities for chaplain ministry even while in retirement. Al serves as Eastern Canadian District rep with our Association of Alliance Chaplains.
