Bryan and Jessyka
Our God Story
God saved Bryan at the age of 13 while he was at a youth rally in Dawson Creek, BC. He was called into global ministry at the age of 16 after hearing international workers share their story on a Sunday morning. God called Bryan to use his passion for and skill in photography as a means of giving children, youth, and men a creative outlet to tell their stories and also for Bryan to tell their stories well to the people that support them.
Jessyka grew up in a Christian home and as a child had an inclination to missions through reading the stories of international workers. God confirmed this call while she was in university and seminary. Jessyka sense a call to prayer and relationships with women and children, to show people that they are loved and valued.
We desire to see the Y people have full access to Jesus through our partnerships with the local C&MA church and other organizations in the area. We long to see a strong and multiplying family of churches develop among the Y people.
We are slated to depart in January 2019 and are currently in the middle of our support raising tour. Our first two years will be devoted to language and culture study. We hope to begin building relationships with the Y people during those first two years as we partner with a local Alliance church in reaching them while they are in IDP (Internally Displaced People) camps within the region.
Silk Road Team
Least-reached People Group (LRPG)
We work with a unique group of LRPG’s called the Y People.
Pray that the Y people will have open hearts to the love of Jesus and work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts and minds.
Pray for us and our team that we would be united in love and purpose as we serve and minister together in this brand new field.
The Global Advance Fund covers our support and living expenses. All donations are tax deductible. Make cheque payable to “C&MA Canada”.
