These stories have been woven together while our team worked from home. The Alliance is taking COVID-19 seriously, not because we’re afraid or lacking faith, but because we are following the example of Christ by loving our neighbours and considering others more important than ourselves.

The content in this magazine was collected from people around the world before and during COVID-19. For this reason, some stories may reflect situations that may not follow current Canadian regulations. These stories were written before COVID-19-related regulations were mandated. Other stories mention COVID-19, as they were written and collected during the pandemic – we see value in including voices through this unique experience, as they speak directly to the reality that we were in.

As COVID-19 has impacted people financially all over the country, we have been intentional to be fiscally responsible while still sharing stories about how God has been moving. We have cut the number of physical copies that we printed, and we are thankful for how technology enables us to share these stories online, while maintaining the look and feel of a magazine.

We do not know where we will be when this content is published. We recognize that, as things continue to change weekly, some stories may feel outdated.

Thank you for taking the time to catch a glimpse of some of the work that the Alliance is involved in. It is our hope and prayer that these pages will encourage and challenge you to live on mission for God.

Through it all, we glorify God as the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
