INTRODUCTION TO MULTICULTURAL ASSOCIATIONS

There are a total of 16 distinct linguistic groups within The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada.

First Nations Alliance Churches of Canada

The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada has a strong commitment to ministry among our First Nations Alliance churches that dates back more than 30 years.

Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association

The Christian and Missionary Alliance has nearly 80 Chinese churches in Canada with a Sunday morning attendance of nearly 20,000.

Association of Vietnamese Alliance Churches

Today we have approximately 20 churches spread across the country from Vancouver Island to Montreal.

Conference of Filipino Alliance Ministries

The first Filipino Alliance church in Canada was started in 1984 in the city of Edmonton. We now have 15 Filipino congregations.

Association of Spanish Alliance Ministries

Our Spanish churches are on the march.  They have great potential for growth as Spanish-speaking people from many Latin American countries, as well as from the U.S., come to Canada.

Other National Organizations and Associations Back to Top
Alliance Parish Nurse Ministries

Parish Nurses extend the hands of prayer and care as they link faith and health in the name of Jesus, our Healer.

National Prayer Mobilization Team

The National Prayer Mobilization Team (NPMT) was formed to mobilize prayer in the C&MA in Canada.

College of Prayer

College of Prayer Canada is an initiative of the National Prayer Mobalization Team designed to provide modules of teaching, mentoring and prayer.

National Church Planters Association

Research in church planting has shown us that an unfocused “shotgun” method of church planting is often less effective than desired. We believe that there are a series of components which intentionally linked together, can help us achieve our goal as a denomination of starting more effective church plants.

Association of Alliance Chaplains

The Association of Alliance Chaplains exists to provide a national and regional forum for Alliance chaplains to be officially recognized within the C&MA in Canada.

Pastoral Care

The National Ministry Centre in cooperation with our districts has two pastoral care couples who serve our churches and official workers. These couples are available for prayer and counsel at any time.

Partners

Canadian Ministries enjoys a warm and cordial relationship with all of the above organizations and associations. At the same time, there are other partners outside our Alliance family of churches with whom we have close ties. We call them partners.
